Greeting

When they meet their business partner, they usually shake hands. To friends, they often kiss friends’ check once or three times. However, kiss is only among some sex.

Dresses

While they are at work, they have to wear traditional Arabic costume. There are variety of colors, white, blue and beige. They must put their hats on in the office because of their traditional thought they do not have to put their hats on outside.

Working hour

Generally Speaking 8:00-14:00

They start to work at 8AM and finish at 2PM. The time they finish work is amazingly early. Also, it means banks in U.A.E. open only till 2PM. They sometimes eat lunch with their business partner. They can also talk about business issue while they are eating.

Their Life Style

Meals

Breakfast before 8AM(before going to work)

Lunch After 2PM(after work)

Dinner around 10PM(after the last pray)

Usually after they finish working, they go back to their homes and take a nap. As for meals, they never eat pork and never drink alcohol because it is against the Islamic rules.

Pray

Five times a day (each pray is about 5 to 10 minutes)

They usually go to mosque every Friday

Pray is very important for them. Even in working hours they do pray. For U.A.E. people, Islam is the center of their life.
