During the meeting, they talk about your main idea, company situation, and project. It is important to show them that you want to business with them.

Dinnertime is more comfortable than a conference meeting. Usually they eat dinner and drink alcohol together. Lot of businessmen, especially traditional businessmen in China make decisions at the dinner table with lots of wine but the younger generations doesnft. They prefer the western style, so they do not make contract while they are drinking. Now Chinese businessmen try to catch up to the rest of the world quickly while they still keep old habits as if they can only trust people while both of them are drinking.

Business time is on time. If someone is late, you can call and tell about your situation such as traffic, accident, and something late progressing. They understand well your situation and it is going to be good moon even though you are late. Being late for once with good reasons can be forgive, but keep being late make anyone look lack of responsibilities.
