1. Dress

In the Mexican business culture, businessmen usually wear formal suits with shirt and ties. Most of the Mexicans think business is world of men, so businesswomen in Mexico wear very conservative suits or clothes. Women must not be more conspicuous then men in the business world. They don’t take their wives to dinner or parties that is related with business. They don’t have the “lady first” custom.

2. Important of Business

Mexicans are not punctual, so business meeting are often delayed or people are usually late because they don’t think business is very important. Most Mexican people think the most important thing is their religion, next is their family, third is their friends and fourth is business.

3. Human Relationship

Human relationships are very important for Mexican people. When they think about choosing a company that is going to be their business partner, they think human relationships are more important then product quality or service. In addition, if they have something important to say, they use the phone or try to meet in person. They don’t use Fax or email. If you use Fax or email to tell important thing, Mexican people think you are cold-hearted.

4. Other culture Aspects

Whey they go out for dinner with their family, everyone wears formal clothes.

All children take care of their own parents in Mexico, especially when they get old.

There is no paid vacation in Mexico. Only people who are working for the government have a paid vacation.
