Culture Reports

Now that globalization has an impact on nearly every enterprise, it is extremely important for those involved to learn about different cultures and customs before going to a foreign country for business. By knowing the customs of a foreign country, a businessperson can avoid destructive misunderstandings and improve personal and professional relationships when doing business in a different culture. 

Every year, there are hundreds of students who come from a wide variety of different countries to UCR Extension. Every country or race has a unique and wonderful culture. In addition, within a country there is often different regional customs to make diversity even more fascinating. The following culture reports are based on the students who are from the countries listed below. These are preliminary reports written by EIB students and may have some minor mistakes. Your comments on any report will be appreciated and will allow me the opportunity to make revisions where appropriate.
